Historical Info (Click Here)
As a company born in a Edmond Engl’s garage in 1983, Engl® made history in 1984 as the first digitally programmable tube amp. Steadily they gained reputation throughout the world as pushing the envelope of what sonically pleasing high gain guitar amps could do. By 1994, Ritchie Blackmore left Marshall® after a very long endorsement run and became an enthusiastic Engl® endorser.
Engl® guitar cabs are known as having a tighter bass response than Marshall® cabs with more mid range cutting power too.
