For almost 50 years Robert Gallien has produced instrument amplification systems with one time partner Rich Krueger. In the 1980’s, they changed the way bass players amplified their instruments with bass amps that produced a signature growl. In the 1980’s, they started producing the 410t™ bass cabinet and players continue to use them to this very day.
This cabinet is owned by a friend who played in various bar bands over the years, so the speakers have been broken in extremely well. If you want the prototypical G-K® rock bass sound from the late 1980’s or early 1990’s, this is the cabinet to try out. This is also an ideal guitar cab to use for Modern Country, Doom Metal, and Stoner Rock.
This is a re-recorded version of the same cab that was originally offered for sale through the Fractal Audio Systems website with more mic variety and now in Wav format as well, recorded at the Soundlab rather than at Fox Recording.
