When you think of Rock and Metal music of the 1980’s through 2000’s, this cabinet was a workhorse that many used in the studio and on tour. The Celestion® G12T-75™ speakers were made with a slight bass hump and treble spike in order to convey power yet help a guitar cut through in a dense recording or live band mix. You either loved these speakers or you hated them, but since Marshall® loaded these speakers in the vast majority of cabinets that Marshall Amplification® produced in the modern era, they became the sound most pros who relied on rented backline cabs used as the baseline to create their tones.
