Historical Info (Click Here)

When you think of Rock and Metal music of the 1980’s, 1990’s, and early 2000’s, this cabinet was the “other” workhorse that many used in the studio and on tour. The Celestion® V30™ speakers had a barely controllable bass response, mid scoop, a treble edge that could cut through mixes, and could push a lot of dB-SPL before breaking up. You either loved these speakers or you hated them, but no one could deny that these speakers could shape an over-driven or edge of breakup amp well.

This 4X12 is the most balanced sounding Recto® cabinet I have come across in over 20 years of recording as it is an older, heavily toured cab with the higher wattage, well used speakers. The cab has the ability to cut through a mix, not make your ears bleed unintentionally, and can  make dialing in Recto® style amp sims an easy task while still sounding great with a variety of other amp models.
