Historical Info (Click Here)

The Marshall® 4X12 1960A™ loaded with Celestion® Greenbacks™ has been part of the fabric or rock, pop and heavy metal music both in seminal recordings and live performances going back to the early 1970s. It’s a well regarded sound where every guitarist is familiar with that voicing. Over the years due to manufacturing changes of the speakers that are copiously documented elsewhere, the sound of that classic combination has evolved slightly.

This well loved cab with Celestion® Greenbacks™ was available to capture thanks to the generosity of Marc Gallo of Studio Devil® as this was part of his personal collection.
